Food for Tricks

We eat largely a vegetarian diet. But introducing my daughter to nutritious foods that she is not too keen on requires ingenuity. She nursed for 18 months so getting her to drink cold milk just did not work. To boost her interest and excitement, it hit me to warm the milk first. Than I tried using a medicine measuring cup and she wanted in!

Otherwise, I usually add keifer to her pancakes. Fruit is always priority for the antioxidants and enzymes for smooth digestion. Now that she is older, she still appreciates it when I serve her food in unusual ways and tend to eat better.
