The Love of a Lilliputian

My Lilliputian INSISTED on taking her entire class a treat. It was a big deal to her and she did not let up until we made it happen. Coincidentally, they were having movie Friday so we delivered individual mini bags of popcorn and animal crackers in each. Everyone enjoyed it so much that her teachers wrote a special thank you note and had all the kids sign their own to express their gratitude. These little things can take a chunk of time especially when a tight schedule is in place; but it is so worth it when she gets the love in her heart out to other people and the appreciation is reciprocated.

I was touched and will definitely add these notes to my keepsakes box to look back on in the next 20 years.

Mini Designers

 

I often see Lilliputians who meticulously know what they want to wear. When I consult little people for their wardrobe, its no less sensitive than it is for adults. I literally have to tread softly when making recommendations. Their need to control how they look is very personal and you don't want a melt down on your hands for something blue rather than red. Although this may be frustrating to parents, a child's particular fashion caution may be on to something. Lately, I have been running into mini designers who are not waiting until adulthood to capture the designer spotlight. Check out these little gurus Cecilia Cassini and Moziah Bridges who are setting new standards for the industry and may inspire Lilliputians who know their calling as trendsetters or who have a creative niche.  

Bright Sight

Color eye ware is supper hot this summer. Big people are waring bright shades and so goes little people.  In fact, have fun wearing what your kids would ware. They will get a kick out of it! Making the cool kids club is serious acceptance!
